Duties: |
The Dental Assistant works chair side making patients feel as comfortable as possible in the dental chair, prepare them for treatment, obtain their dental records and instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care. Applicants must contain excellent customer service skills and a knowledge of word processing, patient record management, and dental terminology. Applicants must have a Dental Assistant Certification from an accredited dental assisting program.
Preferable Job Requirements include:
* Radiology Certification
* Previous dental assisting experience |
Qualifications: |
| Typical duties will include but are not limited to: sterilization of dental instruments, chair side assisting, laboratory communication, inventory control of dental instruments and supplies, electronic dental charting, digital radiography, and providing assistance during specialty procedures such as oral surgery, periodontal surgeries, and endodontics. The Dental Assistant may also assist in front end operations as needed. |
